Rod and Patti Blagojevich just arrived on the 25th floor of the Federal Building. When he passed waiting reporters, he asked me how I had done in a triathlon this weekend. I gave him a thumbs up and he replied, “hope I’m as lucky.”
There is a verdict in the Blagojevich trial. Jurors sent the judge a note this morning saying they had reached a verdict on 18 counts but were unable to reach a verdict on the remaining 2 counts. Rod Blagojevich will be in the courtroom at 1:00 pm when the jury will announce its verdict.
