While Groupon has taken off with consumers, not every business is giving their experience with the company a glowing review. At least one Chicago sandwich shop owner says his Groupon promotion almost cost him his business.
Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood has a vibrant and bustling business district. Over the years many trendy stores have come and gone but the Chicago Bagel Authority has become a mainstay. Not only has the popular sandwich shop survived for nearly 13 years, it’s prospered. But last year that prosperity was dealt a near fatal blow.
